Obituary of Wanda West

Springville - Mary Wanda West, 84, of Springville, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at her residence. Born May 27, 1936 in Bedford, she was the daughter of William and Grace Fern (Gardner) Way. She married Wendell West on June 23, 1956, in the Pilgrim Holiness Church of Bedford by the late Kenneth H. Graves. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church in Little Cincinnati. Wanda loved God, her family, and going to church. She is survived by her husband, Wendell, two sons, Dennis R. West (Christy) of Springville, Brad G. West (Jeanna) of Springville, four grandchildren, Steven W. West (Sheyanne) of Springville, Stacey D. Osborne (Bryce) of Bedford, Levi West of Columbus and Bailey West of Springville, 6 great grandchildren, Addisyn, Reece, Rylen, Alyvia, Ella and Hallie, one sister, Janet Tidd (David) of Bedford, two brothers, Larry Dean Way (Diane) of Ellettsville and Jerry Way (Becky) of Florida, one, half-brother, Billy Way of Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Terry Wayne West, four brothers, John Way, Jim Way, Bob Way and Paul Way, three sisters, Marge Moore, Brenda Sears, and Wilma Gardner, one stepbrother, Larry Kern. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 5, 2021 at the Tunnel Hill Pentecostal Church with Brother Gordon Tilley, and Brother Keith Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Dishman Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 am until the hour of the service on Friday at Tunnel Hill Pentecostal Church. In accordance with CDC guidelines, masks and social distancing are required.
