Obituary of Ruth L. Held

Springville Ruth L. Held, 77, of 5984 State Road 54 West, Springville, died at 8:35 am on Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at the Bloomington Hospital. Born December 7, 1926 in Owen-teck Germany, she was the daughter of Albert and Anna Scheu. She married William B. Held on October 23, 1947 and he preceded her in death in 1997. She retired from NWSC Crane and was of the Catholic faith. Survivors include one son, Fred W. Held and his wife, Kay of Williams; one daughter, Margaret (Peggy) Deckard and her husband Terry of Bedford; four grandchildren, Krista McNeely, Mindi Love, Freddie Held and Ryan Deckard; one great grandson, Cameron McNeely; two brothers, Fritz and Bruno Scheu both of Germany. She was preceded in death by one son, Gary Held, her husband, parents and one brother, Norbert Scheu. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 13th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Springville West Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, March 12th and from 9:00 am until the hour of service on Saturday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
