Obituary of Vivian L. Johnson

Bedford – Vivian L. (Delaney) Johnson, 85, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at her residence. Born September 25, 1935 in Bedford, she was the daughter of James R. and Edith (Barnett) Delaney. She married Louie Johnson on November 27, 1952 and he preceded her in death. She retired from General Motors after thirty years of service. Prior to that she worked in the office at Philco Ford and in the cosmetic department of Aldens Department Store. Survivors include her daughter, Lisa D. Johnson; her granddaughter, Courtnee Johnson and husband, Casey Montgomery, all of Lawrence Co.; two brothers, Larry Delaney and wife, Ina, of Bedford and James R. Delaney and wife, Patty, of Seattle, WA; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Private graveside services are planned. No visitation is scheduled.
