Obituary of Jack D. Goen

Bedford – Jack D. Goen, 78, of Bedford, passed away at 1:10 am on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at I.U. Health Hospice in Bloomington. Born June 11, 1943 in Bedford, he was the son of Paul and Clorine (Lee) Goen. He was a truck driver for General Motors for forty years. He was a member of U.A.W. Local #440. He was an avid Dodger’s fan and loved sports and his family. Survivors include a sister, Judy Thurman, of Oolitic; a sister-in-law, Debbie Goen, of Bedford; nieces and nephews, Deanna Riggle (Reece), Wes Brown, Gavin Brown, and Byron Goen, all of Bedford; great nieces and nephews, Shelby Riggle, Rehn Riggle, Shiley Riggle, Zach Brown, Gunnar Brown, Gracie Brown, and Jackie Brown; a great great nephew, Rowen Riggle. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, John Goen and William Dean Goen (in infancy). Per Jack’s wishes, no service or visitation is planned.
