Bedford – Mary Lou Stables, 82, of Bedford, died at her residence on Friday, November 13, 2020.

Born July 31, 1938, in New Castle, she was the daughter of Herbert and Helen (Weeks) Wadman. She married William Stables and he preceded her in death. She was a QMA, and retired from the State Hospital in New Castle, IN. She had attended Bethel Church in Greene County.

Survivors include a daughter, Susan Webster and husband Danny of Bedford; two granddaughters, Mandy Wever and husband Josh of Bedford, and Sara Goodman and husband Jim of Mitchell; nine great-grandchildern, Joslyn, Kane, and Ashlyn Wever; Carlye Goodman and her companion Alan Tarver, Carmyn Goodman, Carson Goodman and his companion Lana Barlow, Carrigan Goodman, Carha Goodman, and Malakai Goodman; four great great-grandchildren, Adrian, Aaron, and Theo Tarver, and Sophia Roach. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, two brothers, and one great-granddaughter, Halli Ann Wever.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, November 17th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day&Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Hopkins Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 Noon until the hour of service on Tuesday, November 17th. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Resource Center.
