Obituary of Lonnie Wayne Baker

Springville- Lonnie Wayne Baker,59 of Springville, died at 8:00 pm on Friday, November 6, 2020. Born October 4, 1961 in Bloomington, IN he was the son of Lonnis and Janet (Martindale) Baker. He was a retired maintenance worker. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and the Moose Lodge of Bloomington. Survivors include three daughters: Stacey Baker and husband Dakota Houshour of Bedford, Brittany Baker of Bloomington, and Brandy Baker of Bloomington; his mother, Janet Baker of Springville; six grandchildren, his companion. Theresa Baxter of Owensburg; two sisters: Lesa Sanders and husband Dan of Solsberry, and Bobbie Chambers and husband David of Springville; one brother, Larry Baker, and wife Laura of Mitchell; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Jimmy Baker and Billy Baker. Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Springville West Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
