Carmen,
Les was such a good man. He was kind, hard working and a joy to be around. He shared his love for God with everyone. So happy that you got to share 11 years with him and thankful he was a part of our family. Papaw Les to our grandkids! We have many memories! Hold on to your memories and know he loved you dearly! Joann, Laundon, Beverly and Teresa, sorry for the loss of yours and my little "back on the bus days" Freddie. We just talked all the time about who knows what! To the family of Les - We will cherish the times we had, around the fire pit, watching the hay wagon rides, semi going down the road, a drink at the legion or the tractors firing up. I'll miss that smile especially coming out of the woods from hunting knowing that Les is hoping for a deer so we can enjoy some jerky or just standing in the barn discussing the next project or talking about the stock market. Les, don't worry about anything, the "neighbors" will always be watching, helping when needed.

Laundon, I am sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. Les was a kind person who I truly appreciated his friendship over the years. I always enjoyed listening to him sing and he always was willing to lend a helping hand and with a smile. I had a lot of great laughs with him over the years as well as talking about life in general. He was so proud of you and always spoke about how family was important.
