Obituary of Darren Leon Storey

Bedford – Darren Leon Storey, 58, of Bedford, passed away at 9:30 pm on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Garden Villa in Bedford. Born June 7, 1962, in Columbus, IN, he was the son of Robert William Storey and Betty (McKay) Barrett. He was a supervisor at Bloomington Arrow Consultation Services and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the North Bedford Church of Christ. Survivors include two sons, Nathen Storey, of Bloomington and Jeremy Storey and wife, Whitney, of Maiden, NC; four granddaughters, Delilah, Jaselyn, Jasmyn, and Willow; a sister, Brenda Dameron, of Atlanta, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Phil Storey. Funeral service will be conducted at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, October 6th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Trenton Reynolds officiating. Military rites will be accorded at the conclusion of the service by members of Gillen Post #33 American Legion. Burial will be in the Sixteen Cemetery in What Cheer, Iowa.
