My condolences to the Holsapple family for their loss. Mike was a true example of a Christian. I have fond memories of him as my Sunday school teacher. In 2003 during the darkest time in my life, Mike on several different days spent hours with me praying for me and talking me through my trouble. I will never forget his kindness and the effort he put forth to help me, and for Sister Darnell giving Mike the freedom to spend so much time with me. May God comfort Darnell, Jeremy, Abi and the whole family. Scott Hawkins

Mike Holsapple was a “true soldier” in the Army of the Lord. He was a positive influence on so many lives. I have fond memories of spending many Christmas Eve’s at their house in addition to many memories of attending Hilltop Church together. My condolences to Darnell, Jeremy and his wife, Abi and her husband, and the grandkids. He will certainly be missed.

It was a great honor to know Mike Holsapple. He had a positive influence on me when I was young and I've carried that influence throughout my entire life. He taught me many things about Biblical Christian life, but the most prominent thing he taught me was to understand the gifts God gives to believers and the importance of identifying the gift God wanted me to use. Mike taught me how to use that gift by the life I witnessed in him.
Mike and Darnell have been a blessing, and a help, to a multitude of people for many years. We all know that his reward in heaven was great. However, Mike's interest was not in that reward, but rather finally reaching his goal of meeting his Savior and Lord face to face.
Congratulations to Mike on a life well lived and running a good race! Your witness will continue.
An old friend, Craig Koontz
