Obituary of Donna A. Guarneri

Springville – Donna A. Guarneri, 58, of Springville, passed away at 6:24 am on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital. Born August 8, 1962 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Hobert Charles Phillips and Judith Ann (Prince) Phillips Brain. She married Joe Guarneri Jr. on August 18, 1979 and he survives. She was a homemaker and former manager of American General Finance. She graduated from Oakland City College with an Associate’s degree in accounting. Donna was a member of the Harrodsburg Assembly of God where she served as treasurer and Adult Sunday School teacher. Donna enjoyed camping, sewing and loved her grandkids. Survivors include her husband, Joe Jr., of Springville; two sons, Joe Guarneri III, and wife, Sara, of Austin, IN, Justin Guarneri, and wife, Brandy, of Bedford; grandchildren, Emmett, Nora, Koltan, and Levi; siblings, Debbie Phillips, Rick Phillips, Dennis Phillips, Bruce Phillips, and Shane Phillips. She was preceded in death by her father, Hobert Phillips and her step-father, Joe Brain. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Friday, August 21st in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Mike Winters officiating. Burial will follow in the Lowder Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the hour of service on Friday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
