Obituary of Faith Eileen Hemmeter

Frankfort- Faith E. Hemmeter, formerly of Bolivia, South America/Eritrea, East Africa died at her residence in Frankfort, IN on Monday morning, August 11, 2020. Born August 3, 1935 in Cleveland, OH, she was the daughter of Walter Nelson Hemmeter and Lillian Ilene Rickel. She was a retired teacher and missionary. Faith was a current member of the Indianapolis Wesleyan Holiness Church, a member and district preacher and missionary of the Wesleyan Holiness Association of Churches and attended Faith Mission Church in Bedford. Survivors include a brother, John Paul Nelson Hemmeter and companion Margey Zimmerman of Winchester, In; one cousin, Dora Rose Cureton of Fort Wayne, IN; one nephew, Walter Edward Hemmeter; two nieces, Charity Faith Davis and Majorie Jane Adams; five great nieces, Alisha and Elizabeth Hemmeter, Angelina and Hope Davis and Autumn Adams; and one great nephew Austin Adams. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister in infancy. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18 at the Faith Mission Church in Bedford with Rev. J. Stevan Manley, Rev. Steven Hight and Rev. Russtom Ghebremichael officiating. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, August 17 and from 1:00 p.m. until the hour service on Tuesday, all at Faith Mission Church. Burial will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday in the Cedar Crest Cemetery in Clare County, Michigan with Rev. Nathan Shockley officiating.
