Obituary of Donna A. Troxel

Bedford-Donna A. (Sons) Troxel, 85, of Bedford died at 7:35 am on Sunday, August 2, 2020 at IU Health Bedford. Born November 18, 1934 in Bedford, IN she was the daughter of Louis (Connie) and Goldie Mae (Hughes) Sons. She married Freeman Troxel on April 21, 1956 and he preceded her in death on May 4, 1994. She was a homemaker and a member of the Oolitic Church of Christ. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers, John, Marvin, Charles, and Morris “Red” Sons, and a special friend Reba Brooking. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 6, 2020 in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Terry Dowell officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
