Jim was one of the first people I met at Bedford Baptist Temple. He and Helen treated my daughter and I Like family. I will truly miss his stories and his accordion. He was blessed to be musical and we were blessed to hear his playing. He will truly be missed. Prayers for God to hold the family up during this time.

I am heartbroken prayers for Helen and her family they have been by my side through some of the hardest times of my life and also happy times I was baptized by Jim I've known them since I was a teenager truely one of the best Christian men I have ever known

Was so saddened to hear of Mr. Lewis's passing., but so thankful to have met him & to have spent time with the family in the last few years. I know where a good deal of Jordan's mentoring has come from & that has come from his grandpa who obviously spent many hours lovingly teaching Jordan. Jordan is an awesome gift from God for Kathryn & their boys. Sending each of you hugs & prayers. May God give you His peace. Love you all.

To all Jim's Family, I was fortunate to get to meet and know Mr. Lewis fairly well over the past few years when his grandson Jordan married my niece Kathryn. We all spent many happy hours together at family gatherings and Mr. Lewis was always kind to everyone. He was a naturally born teacher and it was very apparent when seeing him with kids. He was also very musically talented, as is Helen and her daughters. I like to think of Jim sitting with Jeremy now and getting caught up while they wait for the rest of the family to eventually join them. You could not find another man more talented at leading by example and he will be missed by many people. He influenced the lives of countless students over the years so he has a large legacy. I am honored to have known him. Love to all his family
