I have known Peggy through my mom, Paula Evans, since my early teen years. She was always bubbly and sweet. I know the theater was a great passion of hers and I had the privilege of seeing her in several plays over the years in which she always stood out. She loved to sew and share stories and was a very loving friend. I am very grateful for our recent visits. She will be deeply missed.

I can't believe it! Today, I was going to call but then decided I would mail her a card! She was an unbelievable lady and I was blessed to have known her. I met her a Green Hill cemetery & volunteered with her. She told me so much about her life, kids and of course the Pacer basketball team that she loved! I saw her last several months ago at her home, I didn't realize she was ill. She will be sorely missed...prayers for her family...she loved them so much.

I met Peggy in a singles group, she invited the group to a lot of fun theater outings. I especially liked the play she was in that used Paoli courthouse as its stage and how part of the audience got to sit in the jury box. She was full of joy and a lot of fun to be with even things weren't going all that well. So sorry for your loss, Ginny Jones

I first met Peggy at Little Theatre of Bedford in 1980 when she was cast to play Chloe Dwyer in the premier production of "Homebodies." She portrayed Katherine Armitage and put in a great performance. In 2013, she returned to Little Theatre for the revival of "Homebodies," and this time brought Chloe Dwyer to life. As a co-author of "Homebodies," I will always be grateful to Peggy, an accomplished actress and good person. Rick Inman

A wonderful sister that I only wish we could have spent more time with. She always had a smile and an infectious laugh no matter what was going on in her life. We will always cherish our last visit with Peggy in September when we took her to visit our childhood friend, Lois Ann in Greenwood, and our stop in Nashville for lunch and her many funny stories about her theatre experiences at the Nashville Theatre and many other plays in Connecticut. She had a varied life and touched a lot of people. She will be missed by many. Love forever, Ron & Myra
