After Tom and I became friends while attending Indiana University during the mid-1980's I was welcomed into Johanna and Joe's family as have many wonderful memories from attending the Christmas Eve holiday parties, Claude Akins Golf Outings and of course, sitting around the pool. I am so glad that my family had the opportunity to be around Johanna as she just made everyone feel so comfortable and always loved. My thoughts and prayers go out to Joe, Joe & Sheri, Tom & Laura and their families. Like all others who knew Johanna I will always have those memories to cherish and may God bless the Elliott family. She is in so many of my childhood memories. I lived at the pool during the summers when I was young. My memories of her are wonderful and will continue to be cherished. Bob and I had the privilege of meeting this beautiful lady in 2006 when we moved to Bedford for Bob's new job at Crane. From the very first time she always made us feel welcome and part of her family. May God give peace and comfort to the family in the coming days. We are so glad we got to know her.
