I did not know Hugh but have heard of him and his work. I would tell him
"Thank you for your contributions to our local limestone industry. You helped to build a nation. Rest in Peace."

We are so sorry to hear of Hugh's passing. He was a fun guy and a joy to know. If he was at Church around Pearl Harbor Day, he always made a point to say something about our military. He had been at Pearl Harbor not long after the attack in 1941, and what he saw, stayed with him. He and Doris loved to joke and cut up. They were a sweet couple. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. And especially Doris.
