David was a childhood friend and my first date (one of the few guys my Dad approved of). We went to the movies just off the Bedford Square on a very snowy evening, but David with his good ole' truck made it a safe trip. He was kind, funny and always saw the positive in situations. I did not know David but he was a relative through his father, I know Esther quite well as we went to School in Williams together although different years. I am so sorry to hear of this, my heartfelt condolences to Esther and the rest of the family. A distant relative is sending this, Penny Connerley Wicks , my grt grandmother was a Brock by Birth.

My condolence to all the Brock families. David is home now. Had so many great memories as neighbors, Esther and Willys, meeting Renee David Billy and Jackie Brock. Love to the whole family. My deepest sympathy . He was a great old friend. Great memories in our childhood growing up. never forgotten , of the love he had for people, caring and giving. David had the biggest heart of gold.

You are about to lay to rest a great man, a gentle giant as some has said. This man was a groomsmen in my wedding, a “co-conspirator” in crime growing up together, a rugged football player who I played side by side with, a family man, a logger and farmer, in many ways a twin to his dad (an even greater man), a fun loving person with a grin as large as his heart. His laughter and smile were very contagious. This is the man I remember and loved so dearly. And although time and distance have kept us apart for a few years, He was and always will be my friend, cousin, teammate and brother in so many ways. You are already missed. Hold the gate open until I get there. Love ya.
