Obituary of Marie Maxine Kruse

Bedford- Marie Maxine Kruse, 79, of 1315 Budha Road died at 10:00 am on Friday, July 11, 2008 at her residence. Born October 6, 1928 in Bedford she was the daughter of Ted R. and Bertha (Baker) Crane. She retired as tourism director for Lawrence County. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, American Legion Gillen Post #33 Auxiliary, Lawrence County Historical Society, and the Green Hill Cemetery board. Survivors include three sons: Samual William Kruse, Jr. of Sugarland, Texas, Doran Spencer Kruse of Bedford, and Jan M. Kruse of Bedford; one daughter: Lynn Renee McCreary of Gaithersburg, Maryland; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter: Lea Anne Kruse; one grandchild; one brother: William Crane. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 15th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery in Bedford. Friends may call from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, July 14th and from 9:00am until the hour of service at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
