Obituary of Zella Sue Keithley

Springville-Zella Sue (Phillips) Keithley, 68, of Springville died at 3:10 am on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington. Born May 2, 1951 in Springville, IN, she was the daughter of Lee and Ottie (Thompson) Phillips. She married Herschell Mitchell Keithley and he survives. She lived most of her life on Phillips Lane, the family farm her parents purchased when she was young. She was a member of the Springville Trinity Pentecostal Mission Church. She graduated from Ivy Tech in 1980 with her LPN, she then went on to receive her RN degree in 1988 from Vincennes University. Zella had a huge heart and dedicated her life to the care of others. Survivors include: her husband Mitchell of Springville; her children: Christy Burns and her husband Edward of Springville, Tony White and his wife Valerie of Wasilla, AK, Melissa Keithley Shake of Heltonville, Landon Keithley of Heltonville; grandchildren: Cory Caudill and his wife Cheyenne, Keisha Richter, James White, Brandon White, and Jasmine White, Mariah Wilson, Mason Wilson, Emmalyn and Jasper Keithley; one great grandson: Arthur James White; three siblings: Wendell Phillips of Springville, Joyce Godsey of Bedford, and Danny Phillips of Shoals; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, six siblings, Hobert Phillips, Mossie Martin, Loretta Keseric, Boyce Phillips, William Phillips, and Evalee Phillips. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 4th at the Springville Trinity Pentecostal Mission with Pastor Doug Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Springville West Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the hour of service on Wednesday.
