So very sorry for your sweet mothers passing. I will never forget her sweet smile, kindness, laugher, and just how genuine of a person she was. I always looked forward to visiting with Aunt Betty at the Schackmann Reunions. You are all in my thoughts, heart, and prayers. Much love to you all.

Betty was one of my all time favorite people because she had a grand habit of meeting people with a smile on her face and making them feel like they were special right off from the very start. Such a charming and sweet lady in many ways. I feel lucky to have known her. My heart felt sympathy to her family. She was a true blessing to one and all.

Our sympathy to you and your family on Betty's passing. She always greeted us with her smile and words that us feel she was glad to see us. I especially enjoyed her beautiful white hair. So pretty and it was always done beautifully.
Do you remember the National Preconvention in Indianapolis in 1998 when escorted the VIP's to their tables for dinner?
She will be missed, but we have wonderful memories.

Aunt Betty was one of my very favorite people. She loved flowers and butterflies. .....Some of the things she used to say were totally her. Remember... ? “Myyy Staarrsss”.... ....She so loved her kids and grands. I have been so blessed. I grew up knowing who she was, experiencing the joy she couldn’t help by show...and the love that made us all a family. As I sit here remembering, I can somehow smell the scents that surrounded her...and feel the oneness that joined all of us together... Grandparents, Great-Grandparents, Parents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Siblings, Children, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews.... We are all cemented together.... Aunt Betty’s physical body has left us, but her spirit remains. And I will remember her always. She will be dancing on the petals of flowers and riding on the wings of butterflies.....

I am so very sorry to hear of Betty's passing. I have such fond memories of her from sleep-overs at their house with Juanita. What an awesome, loving lady she was. I never saw her without a smile and I never heard her complain or have unkind words about anyone or anything. She always seemed so full of life and happy. Even after some of our sleepovers....when most people would have been ready to pull their hair out, not Betty. Even though I'm sure she was exhausted, she still had that loving smile. What a wonderful family who will always hold such a special place in my heart.- I love each of you. May God wrap His loving arms around you and lift you up. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
