Obituary of Jerry D. Banks

Springville – Jerry D. Banks, 64, of Springville, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at his residence. Born October 11, 1955 in Lawrence Co., he was the son of Claude and Helen (Glasgow) Banks. He retired from Otis Elevator in Bloomington and was a member of the N.R.A. and American Legion. Jerry loved his family and friends. Survivors include a son, Jerry P. Banks and wife, Maria, of Bedford; a daughter, Tanya Stevenson and significant other, Donnie Green, of Bloomington; three grandchildren, Adalyn Banks, Brock Banks, and Kiana Brown; siblings, Ronnie Banks and wife, Wenonah, of Oolitic, Danny Banks and wife, Karen, of Springville, Donna Ratkovich, of Springville, Roger Banks, of Bloomington; several nieces and nephews; his best friends, Blaze and Sky. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Saturday, January 25th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary.
