Learned of Chris's passing only recently. Spent most of my junior high and high school days with Chris. Proud to play with him on the football field and spend days with him on the track. Big as can be and a heart to match

I remember Chris coming over to my house and taking me for a ride in his 57 Chevy. He tried to scare me driving fast around the circle at Wilson park. I have lost touch with all my classmates over the years but cherish the memories more every year. RIP big guy.

You know I didn’t know Chris for a very long time. The first time I met Chris was on the football field. For some reason BNL had put Chris in as a pulling lineman on offense. Well I was a small daring outside linebacker ready to take on the world. Well Chris thought differently. All I can remember is this large BNL jersey in front of me and the next thing I know I’m waking up on the sidelines. Good Hit and I will never forget it. I think the thing that stuck with me was he made sure at the end of the game that I was OK. I worked with Chris for a little while after that and always made fun of that game. Thanks Chris for the memories and the man upstairs got another good one. Thoughts and prayers to the family.

I had many good memories of Chris in Junior High and High School. Mostly from football and joy riding in the country. I remember in football he called bananas potassium bars(funny). We played on the defensive line together and it was always a joy watching him and Mark Snyder out of the corner of my eye manhandle two or three guys a piece. Here I am struggling with one and Chris is mowing down two and three guys like they were paper dolls. Ive heard people say that he could have been Bedford's one legitimate professional football player right out of high school and after playing with him I would have to agree with them. He was a man amongst men. A truly gifted athlete. I lost touch with Chris after high school as we all went our separate ways but I still thought of him fondly when telling stories to friends about his exploits. God Bless Chris's family, I pray you find comfort during these difficult times.

Sharon & family - I am so genuinely sorry to read of the loss of Chris. From kindergarten when he would peck on my shoulder in the ride line, and then kiss me when I turned around, through school and up to the time I last saw him, we were good friends. I will miss him and pray that you find comfort in knowing that I’m just one of many that will.
