Obituary of Stephen Komes

Bedford Stephen Komes, 82, of 2008 13th Street, Bedford, died at 6:00 pm on Sunday, September 14, 2008 at the White River Lodge in Bedford. Born December 18, 1925 in Milwaukee, WI, he was the son of John and Katherine (Koss) Komes. He married Adella Walker and she preceded him in death. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Bedford and was a veteran of WW II serving with the 69th Army Infantry. He was an animal lover who enjoyed helping out at the humane society. Survivors include one sister, Terri (Komes) Taylor of Spring Hill, FL; one brother, Charles Komes of Fort Myers, FL; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information No services are scheduled. Cremation was selected.
