Obituary of Eric Raymond Holmquist

Bedford – Eric Raymond Holmquist, 62, of Bedford, died Wednesday, October 02, 2019 at I.U. Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born December 12, 1956 in Elgin, IL, he was the son of Lester and Janet Holmquist. He married Marsha Mitchell on November 7, 1987 and she survives. He was an electrical technician at NWSC Crane and veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He enjoyed tinkering with electronics.

Survivors include his wife, Marsha, of Bedford; a son, Evan Holmquist, of Bloomington; a daughter, Abby Karr and husband, Nicholas, of Anderson, IN; two brothers, Edward Holmquist and wife, Connie, and Earl Holmquist and wife, Debbie; a sister, Eva Sherard and husband, Terry; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Emily Holmquist.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 5^th at the Fayetteville Baptist Church with Pastor Kenny Walden officiating. Burial will follow in the Fayetteville Community Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Saturday at the church.
