Obituary of Christina Lou Roell

Mt. Pleasant, SC- Christina Lou (Robinson) Roell, 88, formerly of Bedford, IN, passed away at the Roper Hospice Cottage in Mt Pleasant, South Carolina on Tuesday, August 27, 2019.

Born August 28, 1930 in Oolitic, IN, she was the daughter of Leslie Darrell Robinson and Viola (Duncan) Robinson. She married John Wesley Roell on May 19, 1951 and he preceded her in death on December 25, 2009. She was a homemaker. She had been a member of the Oldsmar Community Methodist Church of Oldsmar, Florida and the Grace United Methodist Church of Bedford, Indiana.

Survivors include one son, David Arthur Roell and his wife Jolene of Mt Pleasant, South Carolina; one granddaughter, Dana Marie Roell of South Carolina; several nieces and nephews; and several grand-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, John Leslie Roell; one brother, William Darrell Robinson; and one sister, Rebecca Sue Houseman.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, September 3rd in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Reed Beard officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the hour of service on Tuesday, September 3^rd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
