Obituary of Donald F. Heisler

Bedford – Donald F. Heisler, 82, of Springville, died at 5:05 am on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at I.U. Health Hospice House in Bloomington.

Born December 26, 1936 in Evergreen Park, IL, he was the son of Fred P. and Frances M. (Demask) Heisler. He first married Gail J. Heisler. He later married Norma Lucille Ashcraft on February 14, 1990 and she preceded him in death on September 21, 2016. He was a tower operator for the railroad in Joliet, IL and other places. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Donald S. Heisler, of Tinley, IL; a daughter, Denise D. Heisler, of Minooka, IL; three grandchildren, Trinity, Gage and Miah Heisler. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Norma.

Private graveside services are planned with burial in the Owensburg Cemetery.  No visitation is planned. Family and friends may express condolences at www.daycarter.com.
