So sorry to hear , Fred was one of my favorite people . Enjoyed conversations about sports with him,Terry and Ron at the shop . Also had good times at NASCAR races with him and buddies . Also was my daughter Julie’s favorite bus driver !

Having known Fred for many years when my son married his daughter l knew he would have great in-laws. Fred was always a true gentleman who loved people and had many friends. Jeannie was his true love and l can just imagine their smiles of happiness when Fred left us to be reunited with his sweetheart. We miss them both and until we meet again....❤

First of all my condolences to the family. I had the honor to ride on Freds bus out on Vinegar Hill Road on the way to Shawswick. When it came time to get my ears lowered Fred was my go to man. I wouldn’t let anyone else cut it but him. I even bought his Clubman after shave that he sold in his barber shop. RIP Fred Speer, I know you’re rejoicing in heaven!!

Fred was my bus driver many years ago at Shawswick. Very nice man and was always so kind to all the kids. I remember each year at Christmas he would give us a box with rolls of life savers in them. So very sorry for your loss.

Fred was my bus driver all 4 years of high school, From Fayetteville Elem to BNL. Fred was the kindest most generous man with a great sense of humor!! He would blast the radio for us as loud as possible! All of us on the bus would yell, "Crank it Fred!" and Fred would crank it!! He will truly be missed and never forgotten!!!! Prayers for the Family!
