To James & Dora B.'s Family , So sorry to learn at this late date of Dora B.'s passing . James was a cousin of my Mother ( Eileen Jewell Cottingham )She and James would visit my Mom in Dugger and sometimes come to the family yard sale that was held at my Uncle Bennie Jewells' in Dugger . My wife and I last visited Dora B. about the time she quit driving and had the boys mowing for her . Sadly ,time had gotten away from me and hadn't seen her since she left her home . My very heartfelt sympathy to all her boys whom I know she dearly loved .........Terry

Dear Friends,
We are sorry to hear of your mother's passing. It seems God has taken many to heaven that we were not ready to part with. He knew by opening the gates to heaven their pain and suffering would end and they would rejoice. We know there will be tough weeks and months ahead and we are thinking of all of you. Sherman, Mikey Joe and John, I remember a few years ago I was in Bedford in the summer and heading back to the Indy airport. Heading north on 37, passing the road to Aunt Dora B's house....I was short on time to get to the airport and make my flight. About 3 miles past Aunt Dora B's, I made a U-turn and found the familiar way. There she was, sitting on the front porch, in the swing, doing her nails. I pulled into the driveway, saw the biggest, brightest smile on her face, sat down, swang and laughed and talked with her. Got a big ole' bear hug and then went on my way. Just 10 minutes was all I gave her on that day. And the gift she gave to me - her love, smile, and just a little bit of catchin' up - filled my heart with joy that still to this day warms my soul and makes me smile. Aunt Dora B came down to the island with Mom and Dad some years ago. Spent the weekend with us. Slept on the pull-out couch, walked the beach, taught Ron and I how to play dominos. (And, Ron and I teach others how to play "Aunt Dora B's Dominos".) That great lady, your mom, will continue to bless my life even now that she's gone. I loved her and always will. My heart and thoughts are with you all. Love, Jami
