Obituary of Rosalie June Roberts

Bedford – Rosalie June Roberts, 91, of Bedford, died at 12:05 pm on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at her residence.

Born March 11, 1928 in Bedford, she was the daughter of John R. and Lela (Johnson) Brooking. She married Kenneth F. Roberts on January 17, 1947 and he preceded her in death on August 1, 1994. She had been a medical assistant for over forty years in the offices of Drs. Allen, Morrow, Childress, and Duncan. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Bedford.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda K. Roberts of Mason, OH; a son, Mark Roberts of Ludlow, KY; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; a sister, Shirley McMunn of Bedford. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a daughter, Karen Ann Roberts on June 30, 2017.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, June 4^th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Bruce Ervin officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 noon until the hour of service on Tuesday, June 4^th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
