Obituary of Elsie Irene Prince

Heltonville – Elsie Irene Prince, 88, of Heltonville, died at 9:06 am on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at her residence.

Born September 30, 1930, in Greene Co., IN, she was the daughter of Rex and Maude (Birch) Harper. She married Eugene Prince and he survives. She was a homemaker and of the Apostolic Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include her husband, Eugene, of Heltonville; a daughter, Mona Hannum; a son, Thomas Prince and wife, Vicki; grandsons, Alan Hannum, Michael Prince, and wife, Heather; great grandchildren, Jacob Prince, Abigail Prince, Evan Prince, and Isaiah Prince; sisters, Doris Eads and Nancy Prince. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Wilma Stewart, Margie Barger, and Allie Ritter; two brothers, Thomas and Kenneth Harper.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 25^th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Donald Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in the Chapel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, May 24^th and from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Saturday, May 25^th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
