Obituary of Helen Martin

Bedford – Helen Martin, 92, of Bedford, died at 10:10 am on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Johnson’s Christian Village.

Born March 7, 1927, she was the daughter of Claude and Epsie (Pritchett) Speer. She married James Lloyd Martin and he preceded her in death. She was a retired mail carrier with the U.S. Postal Service and a member of the Bartlettsville Christian Church.

Survivors include a son, Kenneth Dale Martin and wife, Nancy; a daughter, Sharon Rose Martin; grandchildren, Melissa (Antolin) Garcia, Kenneth (Aimee) Dale Martin, II, Jimi (Natalie) McFarlan, Jamie Kelly, Tammy (James) Marcin; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Fred and Lloyd; a sister, Betty; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 27^th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Tim Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Run Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, April 26^th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
