My condolences to the family of Mrs Harman. I had Mrs Harman as my speech pathologist when I was at Parkview. I could not speak as I had a debilitating stutter. We did not know then what the problem was, but we now know that I have Tourette's Syndrome. The stutter was really a verbal tic, which is common in Tourette's. She was one of my favorite people when I was in school. School was tough for me and I looked forward to going to her room to work with her, because I knew that while I was in her care I would be loved and protected. Mrs Harman would be proud to know that I am now a Methodist Pastor. I talk for a living. I know that she would not have been surprised. She had great expectations of me. I look forward to thanking her in person one day.

We want to send our heartfelt condolences to Bud, Bobby, Deborah, and Michael. Harriet was such an amazing lady! I have known her all of my life through Southland Church of Christ. I enjoyed attending the ladies Bible class that Harriet taught. She was a wonderful teacher. Harriet was beautiful, inside and out. She was very intelligent, very classy, a true Christian woman. She loved her family SO much! I remember her talking about her grandson, Michael, with such love and pride! She will be forever missed and remembered by all of her church family.
