I was a bit in shock when I heard that Tina had passed away. I knew her for many years as we played trivia together. She was always loving, kind, and full of knowledge. I still remember how excited she was when she found out I was from Avon and talked a lot about her grandson. She will be greatly missed by many.

Tina was like a little sister to me. We were next door neighbors growing up. I taught her how to ride a bicycle going down the hill in our yard. We went a lot of places together including Nebraska in 1976 to visit s friend. I coached her softball team and later she was on my team. I did cadet teaching in her 7th grade PE class at Oolitic. I remember she was upset when the county schools consolidated because she didn’t get to graduate from Oolitic. I remember her tears when her best friend died when she was 5 years old and when her Dad’s parents died a few years later. I remember my mom treating her like her little girl. I loved her and all her family and can’t believe she is gone.

Bill and family, I am in shock reading of Tina’s passing! Had so many varied conversations with her last year. I was so very impressed with her choices in photography - she was talented with a camera. I am so sorry for your loss today and the days to come and hope you are able to keep her close to you with the many memories you share of the time she was here. Rest peacefully Tina. It was a privilege to know you and share a very small time of your life.

I remember Austina Taylor in my high school days at Oolitic... we played on the girls basketball team together. She was a good dribbler and fun to watch run down the floor... she loped and her long, straight blonde hair flowed behind her. Even though we'd lost touch after graduation, I still considered Tina as a sweet friend. I'm sorry for your loss.
