Obituary of Reva June Phillips

Bedford – Reva June Phillips, 84, of Bedford, died at 3:14 pm on Wednesday, April 3, 2019.

Born December 21, 1934 in Brownstown, IN, she was the daughter of Mead and Annabell (England) Shelton. She married Marlin Dean Phillips and he preceded her in death. She was the owner of the Dairy Bar and Phillips 66 gas station in Medora. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bedford.

Survivors include four daughters, Ginger East and husband, Martin, of Bedford, Vicky Phillips and partner, Cindy Yager, of Westford, VT, Tammy Sue McPike and husband, Jeffrey, and Cathy Ann Smith and husband, Terry, all of Medora; eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlin Dean Phillips, and one son, Roger Dean Phillips.

Private family services were held at 10:00 am on Monday, April 8^th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Ryan East officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery in Brownstown. Family and friends may express condolences at www.daycarter.com.
