I have known Jerry all my life. We went to School together from first Grade to 12th Grade and beyond. We were friends all our lives. I miss him terribly. I'm sorry for your loss of your husband and father. Jerry was a Wonderful Man.

I was fortunate enough to have Jerry as one of my Trooper Trainers at the Evansville Post in 1979. The quintessential Indiana State Trooper, IMO. Level headed, a great sense of humor, and tough as nails. Went rabbit hunting together, drank a lot of coffee at the Lakeview Truck Stop, and still wish we would have found out who stole our damned beaver traps at Black River! Rest in peace, buddy, and prayers for your family.

At times like this is when we regret not spending more time together. I thoroughly enjoyed the time I was able to share working with Jerry at Evansville Post. Jerry was one you could always count on. Praying for the family as they go through these hard days.

Sending our love and prayers to all of Jerry's family and friends. What a wonderful gift to have known Jerry. His kindness and friendship will always be cherished. Michael says he will always remember his honorary Papaw Jerry and how he helped him after his Daddy died.
May God's peace and love surround all of you and
bring you comfort during this time.

Worked Bloomington district with Jerry for several years. He was a go getter and always helpful. He certainly served his community well. Was a pleasure to see Jerry in town and talk "the old days" with him. Our condolences to his family and friends.

I went to High School with Jerry and then after service, through the ISP Academy as well. Great guy for all the years that I knew him, and I wish I could have had a closer relationship with him over the years.
Sorry to see that he is gone and I am sure that he will be missed by all.

Jerry was one in a million. He and I were shift partners when I first came on Department in 1976 and assigned to Evansville District. He was one of the best mentors you could have and a really good friend. Always willing to help you out and would give you advice and the benefit of his experience. I don't think I ever saw him get mad... shake his head a few times maybe, but never get mad. Jerry set an example by living and being that example, setting the standards higher for those around him. Rest in peace my friend and again, "Thank You" for all you taught me an your friendship.

So sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. He and my mother, Lana, played together as kids, I have a few pictures of them with toy guns. Frank and Helen and my grandparents Bud and Lenora would all farm together and we used to watch the Bedford fireworks from the farm on the hill. Helen was so ahead of her time being a woman wearing jeans back in the day. I miss them all, but I am sure they will all be there to greet him in heaven! God bless you all. Cherie
