Ed will surely be deeply missed by all who knew him. My husband and I only met him a short while ago for a remodeling project, and we truly appreciated his kindness, honesty, and expert work, and his great sense of humor. Kelli and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Ed’s passing! I will always cherish the times we spent in high school - playing basketball, hanging out on weekends (aka: “cruising” back then) and just being kids. We spent a lot of good quality time together growing up and from that I learned what a good person he was.
I knew when I was with Ed I wasn’t going to get into much trouble because he would keep me on the straight and narrow so to speak or at least try. Ed was always so kind and the voice of reason in my crazy teenage ear and for that I will always be indebted to him. I can still hear him saying: I don’t think I would do that! Sometimes I would listen and sometimes not. I can still see Ed’s face and his reaction when I wouldn’t listen to him and it brings a big smile to my face. I truly cherish our times together!
When you and Ed got married I was so happy for you both. Yes, Kelli, you snagged one of the best guys out there! Two fantastic people ending up together and I couldn’t have been happier for both of you! I’m sure your kids cherish you both for being such great role models and their appreciation will only grow as time goes along.
I wish I could be there with you today. I have been out of the State with my father-in-law passing and didn’t learn of Ed’s passing until last night. I just started a new position in Columbus and I cannot afford more time away but I will be thinking and praying for your all.

We are so shocked and sorry. Ed was such a wonderful neighbor. Mom(Ada) told me she looked out and he would be scraping her driveway after it snowed, she would not even know he was coming.
