Obituary of Mary Jane Baker

Bedford Mary Jane Baker, 64, of 1310 3rd Street, Bedford, died at 6:55 am on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at her residence. Born August 23, 1946 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Joe and Nettie (Bush) Garland. She married Maxwell Laverne Baker on August 9, 1962 and he preceded her in death on December 3, 2002. She had worked at M. Fine & Sons for over twenty years and then worked at P.R.D. for eleven years. She attended the Cornerstone Worship Center in Bedford. Survivors include a son, Gerald Baker and wife, Kelley of Springville; two daughters, Sandi Adams and husband, Joe of Williams, Amanda Baker and companion, Dewayne of Springville; five grandsons, Josh Milner, Gerald Baker, Jr., Jobei Phillips, Jalend Phillips and Jasper Chastain; five granddaughters, Mackenzie Milner, Heather Baker, Manda Phillips, Dezza Lee and Jennifer Fields; two great grandchildren, Makayla Parker and Brogan Lee; a brother, Charlie Garland of Mitchell; several nieces and nephews and her room mates, Diane Burnie, Steve Carter and Pam Mosqueda. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, Judy Watson and Joyce Sipes and a grandson, Kyle Brown. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 21st in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Rodney Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in the Clark Cemetery in Martin Co. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, November 20th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
