While my heart is heavy for Opal and the family, I feel nothing but joy for Roscoe. Yesterday was the day he has looked forward to his whole life. I can see him in my minds eye, standing in the church with tears streaming and arms reached up trying to describe the indescribable joy that would be his one day. And how he would be singing “ that good ole Amazing Graze” in Glory. Roscoe has touched immeasurable hearts for Lord in his lifetime. Mine included. Thank you Roscoe Godsey for your service to Lord that was your everyday life. Thank you for the difference you’ve made in my life and my eternity. And most important, Thank you Father for the blessing of knowing this great man of God. I can hear the echo now of “ Well done, my good and faithful servant” Love and Prayers to Sis Opal and the whole family.
