We were saddened to hear of the departure from this home of a dear friend, Lois. With so many of her loved ones awaiting her arrival in her manion, it is understandable yet sad for us as we lose her for a time. May her loved ones remaining behind cherish the memories they have of her and may they embrase the same Lord she did so that they may rejoin her again one day.
Lois was a bright and delightful lady. She was always fun to be around. She canned delicious pears, created beautiful hand work ( many of which I was gifted and cherish) and she showed great love to her friends and family. She will be missed by many. Thank you, Lois, for being a shing gem in my life - I learned a great deal from you and Paul over the decades!

Lois was my beloved aunt. We always had a lot of good conversation during our visits.
Lois was staying with my parents the morning my twin brother and I were born. She had just graduated from Mitchell High School at the age of 16.
I will miss her so very much.

I met Lois in 2010 when I joined the family by marrying Jeremy Nation. Right from the beginning, Lois was a nurturing, and loving Mamma to me as well as a doting Great-Grandma to her Grand-Daughter, Penelope. She always made it clear that she would like to see more of Penelope. Lois remembered Penelope's Birthday, Valentines' Day and Christmas with a card. Lois made a perfect "Grandma" impact on Penelope. We are grateful.

Lois was the daughter of my grandfather’s (William H Chastain) brother. Remember Jesse’s farm and his visits after we moved to town. So many years ago. Sorry
