Obituary of Patricia Jean Raines

Sacramento – Patricia “Patty” Jean Raines, 78, of Sacramento, CA, formerly of Bedford, passed away in California on January 25, 2019.

Born September 25, 1940, in Bedford/Leesville, she was the eldest daughter of Ray and Galdas (Hack) Fender. She married Wayne Edward Raines on October 21, 1959. She was a graduate of Tunnelton High School, class of 1958 and was a mother, homemaker and later a school teacher aide at Milpitas Christian School in California. She was a member of the Park Victoria Baptist Church in San Jose, California.

Survivors include her brother, Donny Fender, of Bedford; sisters, Brenda Price, of Bedford and Naomi Goodrich, of Tucson, AZ; three sons, Timothy Raines (Debbie), of Sacramento, CA, Rodney Raines (Glenda), of Manteca, CA, Joshua Raines (Angie), of Vista, CA; seven grandchildren, Josephine, Wesley, Kimberly, Juliana, Chandler, Daniel, Alicia Raines. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 2^nd in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Leatherwood Cemetery.
