Dear Crabtree family. I had the priveledge of taking care of kaci at BHF in December. I can honestly say I just fell in love with kaci. Her smile lit up the room. Kaci and I were in wind ensemble together at BNL. I'll never forget the contest we went to at Columbus North. Part of the school was under construction and we all had to walk through the construction area to get from the bus to the auditorium. We were in kind of a rush and all at once we realized we had lost Kaci somewhere along the way. We turned around to find her taking her shoes off so she could walk faster, and that she did -- off she went through the construction, barefoot.
She brightened my day every single morning when we were in band. She was funny, kind, caring, and so very genuine. My heart breaks for her family, especially her little boy. Rest in peace sweet girl. ❤
