Obituary of Shirley A. Kinser

Heltonville Shirley A. Kinser, 65, of 341 Sipes Branch Road, Heltonville, passed away at 4:55 pm on Sunday, July 13, 2008 at the Bloomington Hospital. Born April 6, 1943 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Richard Kern and Lena Mae (Mosier) Young. She married Phillip D. Kinser on November 5, 1983 and he survives. She was the co-owner of Kinser Custom Printing in Heltonville and of the Protestant faith. Survivors include her husband, Phillip of Heltonville; three children, Keith Cobb of Bedford, Karen Moore and her husband, Jeff, Lisa Stephens and her husband, Steve all of Bloomington; four step-children, Pam Kinser, Phillip Kinser, Jr. of Bloomington, Leon Kinser of Williams and Chad Kinser of Bloomington; seventeen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one sister, Jenny Edwards and her husband, Art of East Oolitic; a daughter-in-law, Tamara Hughes of Bedford. She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Claude Young and one sister, Varda Jackie Briscoe. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 17th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Dr. Kregg Burris officiating.
