Bud was so in love with you, Pat. We talked so many times over the years about you and all your problems. Bud seemed to feel almost guilty that he was so healthy and you were having all these problems. He worried so much about you. I know how he babied you and took care of you. No one will miss him as you do. I lost a good friend and archery buddy but you lost a very loving husband. My thoughts, condolences, and prayers go out to you, Pat.

I moved from Monroe county to Lawrence county in 1992. Bud and I met while shooting archery soon after and became good friends. We've traveled to many archery tournaments together since then. We were both members of the White River Bowhunters club where we spent many hours working together. Bud was a dear archery friend and only god knows how much I will miss him. If there's an archery range in heaven I'll see you there one day, ole friend.
