I worked with Charlie Bob at Mills Market, my first job. He made it fun to work there. He was a great guy that left a lasting impression. He was so friendly and full of life. Even in his years at Walmart, every time I saw him, he made a point to talk and joke around. He'll be greatly missed!

One of my very first jobs when I moved to Indiana in 1993 was at Mills Market. Charlie Bob immediately took me under his wing and made me feel right at home here. I've only had a couple of jobs where I actually looked forward to going to work, and Mills was one of those jobs thanks to Charlie. Always quick with a smile, joke, and just the right thing to say...he made such an impact on me and was one of the reasons I immediately fell in love with this area. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of his friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors as we all recognize what a great man we just lost. <3

I was blessed to know this gentleman for the last 9 years. He was a man of humor, love and concern for others. He greeted his fellow co workers with a smile and sometimes a hug. When my daughters started working at Walmart less than a year ago he treated them with love. After my dad passed away I feel like he was like a father figure to me. Charlie Bob was such a special soul. Had the pleasure working with him at Walmart. We bonded when I worked in the Deli. Always full of life and loved his Whistling in the produce while working.

Never officially met Charlie Bob, but he ALWAYS greeted us when we met in the produce isle at WALMART and knowing how much we enjoyed radishes, he would always let us know when a fresh batch was in. Watching him in action he took the time to speak to

At Walmart and would say how’s my cuz Jimmie Lee doing!!! I just saw him the week of Easter at the store and he hollared and asked about Jimmie!! They were two months to the day difference in birthdays!! Jim’s is June 11!! When I ask how he was as always he said mean as ever!!! And then he would say how’s Dottie Beth??

I knew Charlie Bob from Mills Market, as we lived close and shopped there frequently. He was so considerate and kind. When I was pregnant with my second child, he always picked my daughter up and placed her in the cart. He always had a nice smile and such a pleasant manner.
