Patrick, Sonnie and families, we were very sorry to learn of Bill’s passing. I used to see him regularly walk past my Mom’s house when I was helping her in her final years. He logged a lot of miles down Washington Avenue and 27th Street. He was one of the first neighbors I met when we bought the house at Broadview. You guys were always great neighbors and one of the things we missed after we moved. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

First Baptist Church has lost a mighty man but it is Heaven's gain. Bill was one of the most interesting men I have ever known .My prayers go out to the family especially his beloved Sonnie who was devoted to him.

What a fine and brave man. Mariane and I both knew Bill well and liked and respected him. My Father,John Buker,often told me how admirable Bill was both in his approach to life and in his resolve. An example of Courage an true manhood has been lost. Our Thoughts and Prayers are with the Family.
