Obituary of Sharon Reynolds

Oolitic – Sharon Reynolds, 78, of Oolitic, died Wednesdy, July 26, 2017 at her residence.

Born July 13, 1939, in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of George W. and Earline (Moore) McPike. She retired from the housekeeping department of Dunn Memorial Hospital in 1998 and was a member of the Oolitic Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Norris Reynolds and wife, Catherine, of Bloomington, Loretta Kay Denny and husband, Perry, of Fayetteville and Jenny Reynolds, of Orleans; grandchildren, Bill Denny, Wes Denny, Brian Denny, Eric England, Shari Denny, Matthew Reynolds, Amanda White, Caitlin Martin and Robert Martin; nine great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Sondra Childress and Sue Ellen McPike.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 5th at Cresthaven Memory Gardens with Rev. Richard Tallman officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Oolitic Baptist Church. Family and friends may express condolences at www.daycarter.com.
