Dear Pamela and family;
It was a blessing to get to know Mark and as his wife you gave him you all. We didn't know you before your stay with us at the House, but we learned so much from you both. Mark was a really great guy, he fought the good fight and went through so much to stay on this earth. I personally will never forget him. Pamela you were right all along in all of your thoughts and decisions as you cared so dearly for your husband. I learned a lot through you, and your love for him was evident in each day of his illness and beyond. May God be with you Pamela and my heart is with you always.
With kind love and caring,
Mary Hogan

Good-Bye My Brother!!
Time is a funny thing. When you are young and full of energy you believe you have all the time in the world. We used to hunt frogs, fish in the backwater ponds of the Sacramento River, follow unknown paths through fields to the Rock River outside of Dixon. Then things started to change as we grew older and interests moved on, mostly to girls. Yet we still found time to explore the unknown crawling through the caves around Colorado Springs hoping to find an unknown vein of gold that we could claim and be set for life. LOL Yeah, it was fun and no we never struck it rich.
But alas, we both turned into adults and we went in opposite directions. You followed your instincts for the mechanical and I followed mine for logic into the high-tech world. Life and events pulled us further apart and even though we did try, we just could not bridge the gap. We did still seem to find the time for the important moments, birthdays, holidays, and such.
So, say hi to Mom and Dad and our Grandmas and Grandpas. Especially to Grandpa Hoke, as I seem to have developed a passion for word working as of late!
Good-Bye my Brother! You are still loved and you will be missed!!
Roger
