Obituary of Ralph E. Turpin

Ralph Edward Turpin, 86, of Bedford, died Sunday, June 11, 2017, at Garden Villa.

Born October 10, 1930, in Bedford, In., he was the son of Wayne and Lura (Nicholson) Turpin.

Survivors include his former wife Mary Ruth Turpin, two daughters, Vicki Louden and husband Brian, of Houston, Tx., and Gerri DeLisle and husband Mark, of Bloomington, In.; six grand children and his sister Wanda Ritchison of Indianapolis, In. His parents, three brothers, Harvey Turpin, Bobby Turpin, Junior Turpin, and one sister Betty  Maxine Turpin preceded him in death.  He was a retired employee of the Bedford North Lawrence School System.

The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to the Bedford Free Methodist Church. Cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 1st at 10:00 am, Greenhill Cemetery in Bedford. Family and friends may express condolences at www.daycarter.com.
