Obituary of Laura Carmichael

Bedford – Laura Dyan Carmichael, 41, of Bedford, died at 2:47 pm on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born July 15, 1975, in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Robert “Bob” and Nancy (Page) Carmichael. She was a certified nurses assistant at Bell Trace in Bloomington.

Survivors include her parents, Bob and Nancy Carmichael, of Bedford; a sister, Sarah Roberts and husband Chad of Springville; two nieces, Kendale and Kaylynn Robertsboth of Springville; her companion, Eric Combs of Columbus;  aunts and uncles, Ralph Page, of Bloomfield, Sheryl Smith and husband, Keith, of Bloomington, Donna Spaulding of Ft. Worth, TX, Debbie Hall and husband, Dale “Butch”, of Bedford; several cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Kenny and Lola Page and her paternal grandparents, George and Ethel Carmichael; one cousin.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Monday, June 12th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Kenny Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Hanson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday, June 11th at the Day & Carter Mortuary. The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to Hanson Cemetery.
