Obituary of Doug Kendall

Oolitic – William Douglas (Doug) Kendall, 54, of Oolitic, died at 2:44 pm on Monday, March 27, 2017 at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital in Bedford. Born December 9, 1962, in Bedford, he was the son of William and Martha Jane (Elkins) Kendall. He had been employed as a factory worker and was a member of the Indiana National Guard for nine years. Survivors include his father and step-mother, William and Donna Kendall, of Oolitic; a brother, Michael Kendall, of Oolitic; aunts and uncle, Becky and Ray Woodsmall, of Avoca and Joan Crumby, of Richmond; several cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, March 31st in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Charlie Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pmto 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 30th and from 9:00 am until the hour of service on Friday, March 31st at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
